Dear Madame Edith de Belleville, Thank you for posting in FB your detailed review & interpretation of what happened in France in these turbulent weeks of October.
Unfortunately, you have neither probed deeper into the root cause (it's all linked to one key root) nor have you come up with a solution to the political-economic crisis. Perhaps it is because you are so used to the French state of condition that you can't focus on the visceral truth like the frog in boiling water (no offense on the mataphor).
As a Malaysian who spent two years of my childhood in 1970s Paris, I care and feel very saddened at the socio political decline of France, which is endemic in many parts of the EU. 1.There are very dark powers controlling the policies of Europe ever since Angela Merkel launched her open borders policy, saying "we can handle this" immigration flood. There are as many as five theories about the European migrant problem (e.g. taking up welfare costs without generating sufficient productive revenue).

America is not the perfect model but it is the closest to a success story for legal immigration into a federation of states based on a solid constitution.
3. What does France offer it's citizens and annual inflow of 350,000 immigrants? Productive employment? Non. Incentives for artistic and technological creativity? Non. Fair opportunities for education & social mobility? Non. Rather, it offers socialist ideals coupled with a nefarious purposeful agenda to polarise the natives and non native population (you read how Macron commented about the recent shooting incident?).
4. Civil chaos, taken to extremes as with any K-shape economic divergence, invariably leads to the emergence of a strong, authoritarian order (and nobody knows what the untested Marine Le Pen really stands for apart from her anti migrant colors).
5. Once the globalists ditch every regard for the sovereign, Judae-Christian roots of Western civilisation and let in atheism, communism and Islamo-fascist agitators to have an equal voice, the civilized voices will be drowned out simply because these activists will use every irresponsible means to justify an ideal end. We saw how often the Free Palestine flags (a totally unrelated, over-sensitivised issue) are brandished in the protests.
So what is the solution? It is too late to cure a country in decline with medication. A drastic surgery is needed to stop the cancer from spreading. The root problem of France is the problem of the European Union, a half-baked construct that struggles to function efficiently in the absence of a fiscal union (i.e. which requires a totally centralised, unified Federal government).
Ultimately, the indebted EU will most likely have to collapse in its present structure in order for each member country to regain its sovereign will for political and economic self-government outside the dictates of Brussels. The spark for the time bomb has already been lit.
